Rise to Ritual
Rise to Ritual will be performing throughout the park on Saturday and Sunday between 3pm and 5pm
VICTORIA SARETZKY received her dance training from the Connecticut Dance Conservatory, Greenwich Ballet Academy, Royal Ballet School of London, and the Merce Cunningham School. Over the years she has freelanced with K2 Dance & Arts, Heidi Latsky Dance, Tina Croll & Company, Kristin Damrow & Company, Doni Silver Simons, Nicole Colbert Dance Theater, Beth Soll, and Ballet des Amériques. Victoria completed her B.A in French Studies at Columbia University and is a certified Holistic Health Coach and Yoga Instructor. Victoria was recently accepted to her first art residency at Chateau Orquevaux in France this past July and will be traveling to Greece in October for the Eutopia Art Residency. Victoria planted roots in Warwick in November of 2022 with her husband and adorable Shiba Inu named Matcha.
TATYANA KOT was born in the Soviet Union and moved to the US in 2002. After completing her ballet training at the People's Ballet Studio in Stepnogorsk, Kazakhstan, she went on to study history and archaeology at Kurgan State University, For fifteen years, Tatyana worked as a direct support for people with disabilities in Kentucky and NYC. Tatyana has studied Movement Art with Kay Nishikawa since 2011 as part of K2 Dance & Arts. She has won Best Actress at Planet Connections Theater Festival and Midtown International Theater Festival, as well as first prize at Secondo Theater Festival (Zurich, Switzerland). She is a company member of Blessed Unrest, Nylon Fusion, and PM Theater Company. Tatyana has worked as a choreographer on 7 plays’ premieres in NYC thus far.
REBECCA WALDEN Rebecca Walden is a New York City-based professional dance artist. She began her professional career with Nevada Ballet Theatre and Columbia Classical Ballet. Since moving to New York in 2011, she has danced with Karole Armitage, Terra Firma Dance Theatre, Connecticut Ballet, Encounters Dance, Ballet Inc, and K2 Dance & Arts, among others.
Rebecca received her early classical ballet training from Pavlovich Dance School and Southeastern School of Ballet, and received her high school diploma from the North Carolina School of the Arts with a concentration in ballet. She trained in contemporary dance with Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, and has been coached by Nadege Hottier since 2015. Her choreography has been performed by New Chamber Ballet, konverjdans, and Premiere Division Ballet, in New York, Italy, and Germany. In 2019, her choreography was awarded as “Best Pas de Deux” at the Royal Dance Grand Prix in Rieti, Italy.
